My ideal holiday spent:

- Non-stop hanging out with buds

- Trip outstation/overseas

- Heavy sporting exercise everyday

- Stay at home enjoying my time relaxing and playing games(ps2/pc)

- At least 300 bucks to spend for one month

My parent's ideal holiday for me:

- Help with the house chores everyday

- Send/Fetch my younger bro everyday to/from his work

- Go wherever they go

- 50 bucks per month for my spendings

Trip to Camerons

Yes, my first holiday after completion of my studies - Cameron Highlands. You may ask why I always go there, like some cheap holidays to go, but I tell you going to cameron isn't that bad if you want to have a short holiday spent outstation. Well, its much more interesting compared to some other highland areas(no gambling that is).

So here it goes, I left on Sunday with my parents, young bro and Mr Hoo(he joined us for a reason). Somewhere after the church remembrance service we left.

My habit of buying Kacang Rebus everytime I pass a R&R in a highway.

While my dad drives all the way up to camerons, I was asked not to moved around as there was someone feeling really sick(motion sickness issue) and it would distract him for sleeping. So no pictures was taken(I wanted to take some orang asli pictures...).

We reached Royal Lily Park, Tanah Rata, and unloaded all the stuffs into the apartment. After settling down I went out for a walk with my bro. Being a good person, I let him tag along as we head for my favourite place in camerons since I was 3 yrs old - Tanah Rata Playground. Oh ya! On the way walking a car suddenly horned at us and stopped at the side, it was William Chow, Mei Sheen, Lydia & Ben who were heading back to KL. Haha, orang kerja kena balik....lolololololols....

After some shots taken of me playing around the playground(too embarrassing to post it up), I went to take some other pictures of memories...Here is one of the pics, lazy to post up others :Þ

I wanted to take a combination of two different colours of water in the drain(river?), but something else went into the picture too.

Other things that me and bro did...

Some weird thoughts of acting out being depressed and jumping off a bridge. (An uncle who was jogging around saw me and asked me don't do stupid things again...lols)

Well, there were some pictures of my brother being a goalkeeper too but it was too fake. So I decided not to post it up. (btw, he only dived once for me to snap it right)

So after some other walkings and divings, before it was dark we headed back to the apartment to meet up with my parents and Mr Hoo. We went to a restaurant not too far from the apartment called Mayflower Restaurant.

The food served isn't that bad, but I like the tea(my side of the table is the one with 2 cups of tea). However the cleanliness of the plates, bowls, chopsticks, spoons.....seriously need to be washed again.

As usual, I'll end up being the DBKL doing the finishing touches.

When it was late at night, my bro went to play on his laptop, Mr Hoo and my parents were talking about some biblical doctrines, I went out....with a reason to take photos, but also to spend the night without boredom - called a few ppl to accompany till 3am...haha.

One of the clearest shot I took(not sure moon or star). Manually using the DSLR camera, it sure was tough holding the camera without moving a millimeter for at least 5 seconds.

The next morning, woke up at 6am, wash up, quiet time and 7am out for a walk and breakfast...

After everyone was awake and had their own breakfast, we head for Kea's Farm to buy food stuffs(whole load of jagungs, no space for me to buy for anyone else). On the way back down we stopped at Brinchang to have lunch. Nothing special about it. But while walking back to the car, I spotted a weird thing....

And on we go, saying bye bye to Cameron Highlands.

The trip didn't just end there, instead of heading back to KL, we went to Bidor to stay for another night. While my bro, parents, Mr Hoo stayed at Mr Cheah's home. I decided to stay at somewhere I felt would be more interesting to be with, ended up chatting until 3 something in the morning. Oh, btw, there was a chinese bible study where Mr Hoo is leading at Bidor Gospel - the main reason we had this trip.

As it was a working day on Tuesday, we didn't have time to take a picture together with the Bidor peeps and headed back to KL. It's been a while since I last had a great time chatting and hanging out.

Bye bye student life! Welcome non-exams & assignments!

I'm sure you're gonna say, "Good for ya Kev! Now you'll be busy planning for your holidays and start hanging out". Sorry to say, yes although I had nothing to do now(just waiting for results), but there are so many promises I need to fulfill at the moment. I'm sure I did promise almost each of you one or two things a long time ago till recent time, so please I ask of you, give me some time as I need to fulfill some of my promises, starting with the highest priority people - parents.

Yeap, based on my previous posts, it does looked like I was planning a big time holidaying but unfortunately during the week, I gotta spend most of my time at home - cleaning, gardening, shopping, visiting, all based on my parent's plan. Want to say they still 'tak nak lepas' me, ya can say its something like that. But not that I don't like doing em, just...sometimes I'm lazy to do em when it takes almost the whole day doing it...haha.

There are some important issues(well its important for me) that I still couldn't get to it yet, hopefully I can(depending on my guts), but I'm glad I managed to apologized to a bunch of people whom I created a havoc recently. If you refer to my previous post, its the 2nd point that I haven't sorted out yet(yeah, won't tell ya - its personal). It's been bugging me for a couple of months now and I really need to sort it out, haven't been sleeping well these days, and its getting worse.

I'll start my trip next week to Cameron Highland's(with my family excluding older bro[Tibet] & Uncle Hoo) and back on Tuesday. Then the following week to S'pore(planned solo trip, but my younger bro..........kacau!!), however I'll be hanging out on my own over there, we just stay together. Hopefully he doesn't spoil my plan, which I really doubt about it.

To please my dear viewers as to redeem myself for not been frequently updating this blog, I will start this new method of blogging, where I will post when my next post will be up so that you don't need to waste time going to this blog and see it not being updated(well, it helps me to discipline myself too). My next post will be on the 10th Sept 2009. Until then, take care you all and I hope I take care of myself too!

*Oh ya! I finally had a DSLR camera to carry around with now! Will be posting more pictures in the future, if I'm hardworking enough.

Man! Am I so excited! Exam on Monday 11am and another on Wednesday 11am, and then I am done studying! *well, sort of....

Can't wait for Wednesday!! Oh ya, I've been doing a "2 weeks of isolation" during weekdays, and it's quite cool although it bores me almost to death - something which I never did and will never do again.

Just so excited what to do after this......
- Settle some serious stuffs with ppl
- Sort out "something"
- S'pore solo trip
- Trip with Coll Mates
- Driving around KL-Sel non-stop [yeah, i like driving]
- Meet with ppl I didn't have time to meet with
- Oh! Call up the college to pass a msg for my fyp supervisor "Thanks for not being there for me throughout my project!"

Wow!! Many more I wish to add, but I guess I gotta start revising now(its 12.46am). Another 10 hrs to exam!!

I'm going to watch MU!

Ya ya, sound like some crazy MU fan, but FIY, I'm a Liverpool fan. Haha! But I was a Michael Owen fan(well, he is sort of a Liverpool Legend) .

I really dunno why am i actually so eager to go and watch this match(tmr), maybe just to support our Malaysian team(MALAYSIA APA APA PUN BOLEH!! 10-0, 15-0 PUN BOLEH!!!), but I guess this should be an interesting match watching how our Malaysian players catch up with the big boys and according to our national coach, "We shall attack and will not be afraid of losing!", I really hope to watch an interesting match. OH WAIT!!! OR WAS IT BECAUSE I HAD A VIP SEAT TICKET????

Haha! Yes it's true!! I'm going to watch at the VIP stand right below or beside me are where the players will get into the pitch from the entrance! Haha! Ya, for those who are going, pls find me around that area as you already roughly know where I'm gonna be. Let's not talk about how much the ticket costs....haha

But all this doesn't come like that so easily, there is a statement in the ticket(or so called an invitation-card) that there is ONE requirement needed. That is....to wear a long-sleeved BATIK!!! HAHAHAH!!! I was like, what the?? Its gonna be so weird seeing fans wearing either Yellow or Red shirts while I am to wear batik!! Anyway, this makes it easier for you guys to find me too yeah? Haha. Its been quite a long time since I last wore a batik shirt...lemme see....which shirt should i wear....

Things to encounter taking LRT #1

If you're a heavy user of Putra(now called Kelana Jaya Line) and STAR LRT(Ampang Line), do correct me if i'm wrong....

LRT recently has been the most popular transportation used by mainly working folks. Although most of the times it functions well(recently its been good), but when it breaks down or some train or passenger got stuck in the middle of the train or in between the doors, it'll be a long nightmare if they give up an announcement stating they will resolve the problem "SOON". Get a towel to prepare to wipe ur sweats off.

As I am a heavy user for Putra LRT(Kelana Jaya Line), I think it's best if I give comments dealing with that line than for both as I don't really take the STAR Line that often.

These are timings to take note about PUTRA(Kelana Jaya) Line. It opens at 5.30am(i think) and closes at 12.30am (although you need to get there before 11.40pm to get into a train, depending on the location of the station), as the last trains leaves for each end of the station at 11.30pm. Other times to take note of are the peak times when the train feels like sauna.

Peak times :

Time

8.45am – 9.45am

This is when almost 80% working members gets into the train, filling up every sit and even the space to stand.
Stations at the ends (Kelana Jaya & Gombak) will be packed with people and you might need to queue up to wait for 20-30 minutes to get into the train.
Stations at Masjid Jamek & KL Sentral would require the same amount of time(20-30 minutes) to get into the train
And the best station goes to Wangsa Maju station! If you happened to have been there, you’ll notice it takes you at least 45 minutes before you can get into a train. Note: at least! People there won’t speak to one another and all they do is keep pushing you from the front, back and sides. (For me, I’ll usually let them push me into the train = Þ)
There will be “station guards” making sure the line is properly lined up and no one starts overtaking, with “a maximum of 2 lines”, says the guard, but we humans are the best, we create at least 3 lines to enhance the cram’ness in the station.

5.45pm – 7.10pm

Stations from Masjid Jamek, Bangsar, KL Sentral & Pasar Seni will require you to line up and wait for at least 15 minutes before you can board into the train.
Ampang Park station requires you to stay in the station for at least 20 minutes to get into a train.
KLCC station requires you to first wait outside of the ticket booth for at least 15 minutes before you get into the station and when you’re inside(downstairs), keep standing and pushing/getting pushed for another 45 minutes.

*Note: This timing only applies if you have the LRT monthly pass or Touch'N Go card. If you don't have them, just multiply the timing by 1.5x. The timing can also be shortened if you be unethical and overtaking and pushing people away to get into the train(don't worry, no one says anything in the train)

Other than those times, the LRT is pretty cold and quiet(unless exceptional cases). The air conditioning is pretty cold for the PUTRA(Kelana Jaya) Line but for the STAR(Ampang) Line, you gotta prepare bringing a portable fan at times - especially during the afternoon as they would love to provide more heat into the train.

Its been a though week, all assignments need to be completed by next week + my parents are out, leaving me with all the house duties(wash & hang clothes, water plants, feed fishes & dogs, pick up dog's poo, floor cleaning, etc.....), is making me so tired to even do my assignment. Been sleeping around 6++am for these 2 days.....and have to wake up latest by 8.30am to water plants, feed dogs, fish.

From all these difficult times, the best thing is, I've got the whole house to myself!! No one to tell me what time I should be eating lunch, force me to sleep, going out with friends for lunch, dinner, supper, and best of all - the freedom to do anything i like at home, so far just doing assignments le...unlike my usual style of studying in my room, I've been using the living room :

Using the TV as my external screen....look at the loads of printed papers I have!! See, I really do my work ok - eventhough it rarely happens. =D
